Join me online every week for Yoga for Athletes: Mobility & Recovery, a class designed for runners, cyclists, triathletes, and anyone whose training or lifestyle puts repeated demand on the body. Sessions run on Mondays at 6:15pm and are open to all levels, whether you're new to yoga or have been practising for years, and all genders.
Each session is a 45-minute class. We begin with movement to build mobility and balance, particularly helpful if your training involves a lot of repetitive, single-direction movement like running or cycling. We then slow down into longer held stretches, giving your tendons, ligaments, and connective tissue the attention they often don't get, supporting flexibility and recovery over time.
I aim to create a welcoming, supportive, and non-judgemental space where everyone feels comfortable. Throughout the class, I offer clear guidance and plenty of modifications, so you can adapt the practice to suit your body and needs. There’s no pressure to be “perfect”, the focus is on feeling good and moving mindfully.
If you're looking for a weekly online class to support your training, aid recovery, and help prevent injury, I'd love for you to join.
My online classes combine functional movement, breathing exercises, and mindfulness, with a structure tailored to athletes' needs.
Classes typically include:
Gentle movement to build mobility and balance
Longer held stretches for flexibility and tissue resilience
Clear guidance and demonstrations you can follow from home
Breathing and relaxation practices to support recovery
A supportive, non-judgemental atmosphere
You’re encouraged to move at your own pace and rest whenever needed.
Weekly classes are ideal if you:
Want to build mobility and flexibility
Are looking to reduce injury risk and support recovery alongside your training
Prefer practising from home, at a time that fits around training and work
Prefer a steady, grounded approach to yoga, where you can make choices for your own practice
Are looking to support both physical and mental wellbeing
If you’re completely new to yoga, you could also join my Yoga for Beginners course in Oxford, and you’re always welcome to get in touch for guidance.
Weekly online sessions, joined by video call
Drop-in options and multi class passes available
Small, friendly class sizes
A meeting link is sent once you book your place.
Whether you attend every week or drop in when you can, this class offers a steady space to support your training.
If you’re unsure which class is right for you, feel free to get in touch.
Do I need prior yoga experience to join?
You are welcome to join with no prior yoga experience and I will provide clear instructions and modifications to help you feel comfortable and confident as you start your yoga journey.
Not at all. While the class is designed with endurance athletes in mind, particularly runners and cyclists, anyone looking to improve mobility, flexibility, and recovery is welcome to join.
The first half focuses on gentle movement to build mobility and balance. The second half moves into longer held stretches to support flexibility and recovery in connective tissue.
Yes. You don’t need to be flexible to practise yoga. The online yoga classes are taught with options and variations, allowing you to move in a way that feels supportive for your body.
Please bring a yoga mat or similar, blocks (or a couple of thick books if you don't have any), a blanket, and a bolster or a thick pillow or cushion. Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely, and bring a bottle of water if you wish.
Yoga can often be adapted, but it’s important to consult your doctor/physio before class if you have any health concerns.
Once you've booked your place, you'll receive a meeting link by email ahead of the session.
